Play Safe Have Fun
Our commitment to responsible gaming
Let the game remain a form of entertainment
Games of chance are a modern form of entertainment and leisure. At the same time, we are fully aware of the potential risks associated with problem gambling. That is why at Hit Universe of Fun we are committed to responsible gaming practices. We believe that many problems can be prevented when clear rules and preventive measures are in place, and when support is available as soon as difficulties are identified.
Within our organization, we run the Play Safe – Have Fun program, through which we actively protect players, provide information and raise awareness, and offer various support tools and initiatives.
You are welcome in our entertainment centres and casinos — but let the game always remain a source of fun.
Playing smart, playing responsibly
One of the unique appeals of games of chance is playing with money and the excitement of a possible win, regardless of its size. It is essential, however, that spending on this form of entertainment remains within one’s financial means.
Responsibility for safe play lies with each individual player. By using certain techniques, players can help ensure their gaming stays within healthy limits. Planning your play, understanding the rules and mechanics of games of chance, and regularly checking in with yourself to assess whether your gaming habits remain safe are all key steps.
When you’re concerned about a loved one
When someone experiences difficulties with gambling, it affects not only them but also those closest to them. Family members, partners, and friends are often the first to notice changes in behaviour, emotional well-being, or attitudes toward money.
The role of loved ones is therefore crucial, yet sensitive. It is important to learn how to recognize when gaming may no longer be just entertainment, and how to communicate concerns in a respectful and supportive way.
Steps toward balance
At Hit, we carry out a range of activities as part of the Play Safe – Have Fun program to protect players, inform and educate them, and offer practical tools to interrupt problematic gaming behaviour.
The first step is recognizing that a problem exists. From there, it is time to take the next steps. Players can arrange a confidential conversation with a Hit counsellor, seek external professional support, or choose self-exclusion as a voluntary break from gaming for any length of time.
If you notice that gaming is taking an increasingly important place in your life and that you are having difficulty keeping to the limits you have set for yourself, please seek professional help. You can also contact Hit’s internal support service:
