Join us for an exceptional Wine & Gourmet evening, where outstanding cuisine meets carefully selected wines. This edition will feature, for the first time, a renowned Italian winemaker whose wines have earned the admiration of wine enthusiasts both locally and internationally.
On Friday, 10 July, the spotlight will be on the exceptional Sturm wines from the Italian wine region of Collio, perfectly paired with a specially crafted four-course menu prepared by the culinary team at Park, led by Chef Adi Blaško.
The winery is located in the municipality of Cormons, in the area of Zegla, at the heart of the renowned Collio region – often referred to as the “garden of great Friulian white wines.” Here, the Sturm family has passionately cultivated its vineyards for three generations. The winery’s philosophy is centred on elegance, purity, and aromatic expression, creating wines with a distinctive character that inspire emotion and appreciation over time.
Their portfolio is divided into two label collections: The black label collection features wines vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks. These are precise, expressive, and floral wines, presented with modern label artwork depicting a storm. The word “Sturm” means “storm”, and the design reflects the movement of wind and sea waves, symbolizing the mineral-rich ponca soils of the region.
The white label collection showcases organic wines produced from the estate’s finest vineyards. These wines undergo spontaneous fermentation and are aged in oak. The label features a child’s drawing, chosen as a symbol of nature’s freedom and uniqueness—much like every storm and every wine.
